FilterShop contains over 500 predefined circuit templates, each with associated design formulas or numerical solutions built into the program. Once a suitable target function has been created, the user need only enter one or two key component values for scaling and the system will design all of the remaining values.

FilterShop also applies component tolerance balancing whereby it automatically uses the fine tolerance components to compensate for coarse components, such as capacitors and inductors with restricted standard values.

The synthesis approach is invaluable for single stage high order filters such as the traditionally tough RLC and RDC ladders. Extensive ladder configurations are included.
