| The acoustic stimulus is provided via a custom designed 4-way dual enclosure loudspeaker source. The loudspeaker source must be capable of producing consistently smooth and stable response over an extremely wide range of frequency spanning 12 octaves. The subwoofer produces substantial energy down to 10Hz using two 12 In drivers modified with mass control rings, and a very long low resistance port. High frequencies through 40kHz are handled via a 3/4 In silk dome tweeter.
