LX735 - Panel Features

The connector jacks are arranged in two columns along with corresponding LED indicators for each jack. There are 12 channels (1..12) and 2 buses (A,B). Any of the 12 channels can be connected to either of the 2 buses.

The A bus is assigned a Green LED, and the B bus a Red LED. Individual channel LEDs have dual color LEDs. Any channel that is connected to one of the two buses will show a matching color on it's LED. If the same channel is connected to both buses, the LED will become Yellow indicating both Green and Red LED functions are enabled.

Any number of channels from none to 12 can be connected to either of the two buses. Make-Before-Break or Break-Before-Make functionality can be handled through software control.

The connector spacing between the channel jacks is 0.375 Inches. Molded cables are required with a body diameter equal to or less than this dimension.

Adapter Cables

A wide variety of cable adapters can be created for use with the LX735. All connector jacks are 3.5mm stereo jacks, and many standard low cost cables for these connectors are widely available. Since the signal connections of the LX735 are universal, both balanced, unbalanced, and stereo signals can be switched. Moreover, the 12 individual channels can be used as inputs or outputs, as well as the A,B buses used as inputs or outputs. The pictorials below demonstrate a few of the typical cables and configurations which can be utilized.
