The
LX731 provides automation control interfaces for both analog and
digital devices. A common requirement for many production QA/QC
applications require both control and sensing of various remote
device functions.
The
analog interfaces and be configured as either one input and one
output, or two inputs, or two outputs. Likewise the digital interfaces
can be configured as either single input and single output, or two
inputs, or two outputs. Each digital interface provides 24 bits
of data, over 16 million codes.
The
analog interfaces can be used to read sensors such as temperature,
pressure, speed, voltage, current, etc. They can also be used to
drive linear actuators, chart recorders, variable speed controls,
and other linear devices.
The
digital interfaces can be used to drive relays, stepper motors,
positioning, LEDs, indicators, robotics, etc. They can also be used
to read status conditions, test results, etc.
