12mm Mic Clip

The MC501 is a rugged microphone clip design to fit a 12mm (0.500 Inch) microphone body. The clip can be screwed on directly to the end of a standard 5/8 Inch (16mm) microphone stand.

It features all plastic construction with internal self threading ribs, and an interference fit over the mic stand tube. The MC501 features a two piece base/holder design with a central pivot point for rotation. The base and holder snap together with a multi blade design providing controlled friction. This allows the angle of the microphone to be rotated across 180 degrees (±90 Degrees minimum from the vertical position) to enable precision alignment and positioning. The microphone easily snaps into the MC501 holder and can be removed as quickly. Constructed from high strength stable Lexan® Polycarbonate, it can withstand years of use with little or no change in its mechanical properties.
