After receiving many requests for a student version of FilterShop^™, we are pleased to announce the availability of a low-cost reduced feature version of the powerful FilterShop^™ 3 application. This version will sell for $295 and is ideal for personal users with less demanding filter development projects.

Virtually all of the extensive features of the full product remain in the Lite version. The only restrictions are on the maximum order of the analog/digital filters, and on the maximum number of components in circuit schematics.

The product features: rich graphical user interface, true analog circuit synthesis, a massive target generation system, powerful target and circuit optimization, advanced digital filter design for both IIR and FIR filters, analog filters to 32 poles/zeros, mixed analog/digital filter design, switched-capacitor filter design, comprehensive equalizer design using potentiometer tapers, custom circuit entry/editing with proprietary circuit components, frequency domain analysis, time domain analysis, and noise analysis.

Filter design is an integral part of all fields of electronics R&D. Applications abound in many fields including audio, general purpose DSP, instrumentation, communications, aviation/navigation, digital radar, biomedical, telephony, etc.
