View Full Version : FilterShop Lite
First, I don't see the "Lite" version being offered any more. Has LinearX dropped this product.
Second, does the impluse and step functions work in the Lite version? There doesn't seem to be anything in the online help included with my Lite version explaining the use of these two important functions.
Thanks in advance for any help received.

Yes the Lite version is history. We have tried to market this product in a number of different ways and with different price points. We offered the Lite version at a much lower cost expecting to see higher volume on it. However that did not happen. The CAE/EDA software market today has dramatically declined from what it once was.
The Lite version has no limitations such as you describe, and the operation of the time domain Impulse/Step graphs is covered in the documentation. You must have a lower frequency limit of 0Hz and the frequency range must be linear. Generally you want the high frequency limit to be your Fs/2 Nyquist frequency.
Chris,
Thank you for your detailed and prompt reply.
Sorry to hear "Lite" is gone. I thought it would be a big hit also.
I will work on getting my impulse and step functions working.
