Hi Guy's;

Under the processing / speaker parameters menu in LMS, it allows you to generate parameters for standard or Leap 4. What about the new parameters for the LTD model. I assume I need Leaap 5 ??

Thanks;

The latest LMS-4 version also has the new TMD (Transducer Model Derivation) dialog as well. Just download the current update.

Thank's Chris;

I already have all the latest updates. The latest update was LMS v.4.5.0.331 which I have. The release text shows that the new transducer model derivation dialog came with v 4.50 ( build 326 ) Dec. 12/2002. What gives?:confused:

Thanks again;

Sorry Chris, I was looking in the wrong place, the transducer model derivation is at the bottom of the utilities menu:rolleyes: Problem is, is that there isn't anything in the help file to explain how to use the TMD process:confused:

Remember, I'm fairly new at this:D

Thanks;

If you have LEAP-5 then you already have the documentation for the TMD dialog. If you don't have LEAP-5 then you really have no reason to use the TMD, since it derives models only LEAP-5 can use.

Thank's Chris;

No I don't have LEAP 5 yet, it is on our list to purchase by mid summer. In the meantime I have many drivers to measure and would have preferred to do the full LTD model while I'm at it. So, do I understand correctly that all I need is the documentation on how to use the transducer model derivation utility:confused:

Thank's

Yes, there is a lot of documentation required. The LTD model is a powerful model introduced by LEAP-5. You therefore need the LEAP-5 / EnclosureShop application to work with it. The model requires a lot of documentation, examples, and explanation. Using the TMD dialog is also a major topic with much documentation and examples required.
